My heater will not turn on.
I plug in the heater to a wall outlet but nothing happens. The display doesn't light up and the buttons won't work either.

Make sure your heater is positioned in the upright position, and then check the powercord for any bent prongs or frayed spots. If you find any of these, you might have to replace the cord. For more information, refer to [ Holmes HEH8031 Troubleshooting|Heater Troubleshooting Page]

I would check out the inside and look for burnt fuses, switches, etc. space heaters are cheap the parts inside them are cheap.

1. Keeping the unit upright at all times, make sure the mode switch is in the "OFF" position
2. Unplug unit from power source
3. Wait ten minutes and plug cord back into wall
4. Turn unit "ON"
